Learning to Walk

During meetings in Ottawa this past week, I stayed with our daughter, Rebecca, and enjoyed a bit of grandpa time with our granddaughter, Emilie. She can now stand alone (with something to hold) and is eager to be walking unassisted as soon as possible! Hearing approval from those around her as well as something to grasp while practising is a real help as she works on balance and confidence. Someday soon, the goal will be reached and a whole new chapter will begin. A new independence will arrive for her and an exhausting season of parenting will commence. Go, Emilie, go! GG
