Dear Ministry Partners:

We are writing at this time to share with you about an upcoming change of status for Glenn and Dianne Gibson in their ministry with Outreach Canada. This communiqué seeks to honour the Lord through a joint statement about God’s leading for future ministry.

In the months ahead, Glenn and Dianne will move from full time employment to an associate relationship and to a more limited involvement. But their commitment will remain the same to the Outreach Canada’s mission and their teammates.

Over the past year, consultation with mission leadership and exploration into new ministry opportunities has been undertaken. In recent days, a door has opened to Glenn to serve Director of Leadership Development for Christian Horizons, a ministry serving developmentally disabled people both in Ontario and internationally.

Glenn will be concluding his full time employment with OC at the end of August, 2007 to assume his new responsibilities with Christian Horizons. But he has also agreed to continue to serve as the interim Ontario Team leader on a volunteer basis for up to the next twelve months. Some continued support in the final months of 2007 will be needed to close out the Gibson’s support account in the black and to cover any expenses related to his volunteer interim role.

The appreciation is deep for the faithful prayer and financial support of those who have supported the ministry of the Gibson’s over the past nine years. Going forward, Outreach Canada continues to carry on its important ministry within Canada and beyond through other members of their team. The financial needs related to the ongoing work of the mission and the support of the team will continue. In the weeks ahead, additional information about the need and opportunity for continued support of the ministry of Outreach Canada.
