Surgery Update on Dianne's Dad
We are encouraged! Dianne's Dad, Nelson Wilsher, came through cancer surgery on his remaining kidney yesterday afternoon and was resting well last night in hospital in London, ON when I talked to Dianne last night. The procedure took 90 minutes and successfully removed three tumours. He came out of the anaesthetic without difficulties. He was able to sit up in the evening and sip some tea! A tube into his back will remain for a time to allow drainage and additional treatment. Dianne will remain in London for much of the week to provide support and care.
